Why I would have traded our 1st round draft pick

Gonna make this short, but I think this team passed on a chance to vastly improve itself.

*Im writing this assuming that the Falcons also reached out to the Cardinals with the same deal they agreed on with the Browns.

Atlanta gave up its 1st , 2nd and 4th rounders this year and its 1st and 4th next year. Send Atlantas 2012 1st and 4th to Philly for Kevin Kolb (when a CBA is reached), draft an O-Lineman in with Atlantas 27th pick, get an OLB with our original pick in the second round and go after a Corner or another LB with Atlantas 2nd rounder.

I love the Patrick Peterson pick and think he will be a stud for this team, but with so many other areas needing improvement I would have made the trade. You land your franchise QB, give yourself a great chance of resigning Larry, and solidify your O-Line and Defense at the same time.

The only reason I would pass up on this senario is because of the type of money Kolb is said to be seeking. Otherwise, thats how I would have gone about this years first round.
