SB Nation Arizona Editor's Pick
Who Gets Signed First?
Since news is slow regarding the NFL, I thought I might post this to get some discussion going. It is very likely that Vince Young and Donovan McNabb will be released from their respective teams, thus giving them the ability to enter free agency once the league opens for business.
So my question is: Which of these quarterbacks will get signed first and by what team?
My take is after the jump.
Personally, I think many teams are wary of the head case that Vince Young appears to be, but Donovan McNabb's decline in play could also be alarming. Still, I think the weapons that McNabb had around him on the Washington Redskins were not great, so getting him some better receivers and a much improved line could help him quite a bit.
With that said, I believe McNabb is going to be signed before Young. A team like Minnesota makes a lot of sense given the need for a veteran to come in and play while new draftee Christian Ponder learns the NFL game. Another possibility is Carolina, but I think they may decide to go with Cam Newton right off the bat.
So what say you people? Which of these two gets a new jersey first and whose jersey will they be dawning?

I dunno about Oakland and McNabb
If they pay any kind of attention, they will know what happens when Jason Campbell gets pushed out the door by McNabb.
McNabb first, probably
If Carolina decides to start Cam from the beginning, lets hope that Cards are ready to welcome him to the NFL with a bloody lip and bruised ribs. I’d hate for his first regular season game to be a triumphant victory over the Cards. I can already see the ESPN headlines….
