The idea for this post is blatantly nabbed from Behind the Steel Curtain. Okay, disclaimer over. Here's the idea: Name the top five players you would never want to see as a Cardinal but have the talent to improve the team. You can include past, present or future nfl players. Doesn't matter what your reasoning is, be it rational, illogical or pure raving, just include it in your post. I'm going to stick to current players. Here's my list;
5. ALBERT HAYNESWORTH - The poster child for lazy, self indulgent, over paid professional athletes. He got an obscene contract from the Redskins and basically just sat down thereafter. Doesn't want to play in the 3-4. Makes me happy the Cards play the 3-4. His story isn't exactly obscure so I'll go no further.
4. MICHAEL CRABTREE - This guy played the diva card before he even signed a contract. If I'm going to suffer a diva wideout at least let it be one that has proven himself first. Ocho Cinco. T.O. I'd take either any day over Crabtree. Now he's throwing his quarterback under the bus. Just another me first megalomaniac.
3. JAY CUTLER - Jay Cutler is a legend in his own mind. He had the audacity to talk smack about being better than John Elway while he played for Denver. That went over about as well there as when John Lennon said the Beatles were more popular than god. Way to win the hearts and minds Jay. Now how about you prove that you're better than Elway.
2. BEN ROETHLISBERGER - The date raper. Yeah, thanks but no thanks. Here Ben, choke on this. I wish you would. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9KA9J6lMVmo
1. MICHAEL VICK - As a quarterback I would love to see Vick on the Cardinals. As a human being I'd rather see him hit by a bus. I don't want to hear cliches about paying his debt to society either. That's not what it's about. There is something sick and wrong with people who get off on tormenting animals. Running a racket doing it is downright sociopathic.
Well, my list is a little quarterback heavy. I wonder why? And now it's your turn. Let's hear it ROTB. Who do you never want to see in Cardinal red?
