This will continue to be reposted until hopefully we get enough votes. As for a "contest", that is how we will do it. Hopefully we will get multiple submissions and be able to choose from them as the best.

When I took over managing Revenge of the Birds, I was asked more than once about perhaps a change in the logo, especially considering the new logo that Bright Side of the Sun now has. 

I have gotten approval to do it, but there are a few things I want to get squared away before we actually move forward with this.

First of all, we won't change it unless there is clear desire for change. I have the poll up. I want at least 300 votes total, the majority desiring a new logo and a minimum of 65% voting either for wanting one or being okay with a new logo.

Secondly, if we are to have a new logo, we will need someone in the community to design it If you are interested in giving it a shot, email me to let me know. There will be some technical specifications, but we can deal with those later and if you are interested.

There is nothing we can offer for the logo, other than the pride of having your work on the front page. There will be some legal stuff to deal with -- nothing in the image can already be copyrighted (such as team logos) and the image will become property of SB Nation.
