Cardinals Announce First Free Agent And Draft Pick Signings

After wondering what the Cardinals plans were during this Free Agency period besides the trade for Kevin Kolb, some of the Free Agents and Draft Picks have reached a deal. Still waiting to hear when Ryan Williams and Patrick Peterson will sign though.

More after the jump.

Star-divide

From Darren Urban's twitter account.

@Carcschatter: Cards officially announce five new FAs: LB Stew Bradley, DE Nick Eason, TE Jeff King, WR Chansi Stuckey, G Daryn Colledge.

@Cardschatter: Five rookies have signed four-year deals: LB Sam Acho, FB Anthony Sherman, LB Quan Sturdivant, DE David Carter, WR DeMarco Sampson.

@Cardschatter: Two RFAs signed their one-year tenders: T Brandon Keith and WR Early Doucet.

@Cardschatter: RB Tim Hightower has not signed his tender offer yet.

@Cardschatter: Cards re-sign eight of their own free agents: C Sendlein, S Abdullah, CB Adams, T Batiste, C Claxton, P Graham, FB Maui'a and TE Spach.

I am concerned that Peterson hasn't signed his deal yet, but hopefully that will get done before the weekend is over. Hightower not signing his tender makes it look like he could be the odd man out and Ryan Williams will be his replacement as well

Cal defensive back Bryant Nnabuife has also been announced as a UDFA signing on the team site. And it was announced that Jay Feely will let Kevin Kolb wear number 4 and Feely will now wear number 3.

I like Eason for depth purposes...

If he was signed to be started I’d have a problem but he’ll be a solid backup to D Williams.

He is a back up DE, not nose tackle.

We still need a back NT.

If you don't have anything good to say about the Cards this season, you'd be correct.

Asomugha to the Eagles?

Forget the Jets, the Eagles’ defensive backfield is going to be NASTY!

Stewart Bradley!

Excited for this one. When healthy, Stew is a hell of a linebacker and we’ve had an eye on him for a while. Maybe he’ll give us the thumper we finally need as an ILB. Or he can play outside too.
