Video(s) Of The Day: Cardinals Beat The Cowboys In 08
What better way to celebrate our freedom than watching "Americas Team" lose? I'm sure that most of us flat out hate the Cowboys, how they are always hyped up by the media before every season, how their talent has been overrated the last couple of years, how annoying Jerry Jones is, how Tony Romo cares more about golf than winning, and how they always creamed us during the Sun Devil Stadium years when the Cardinals were still in the NFC East. We love to make fun of Tony Romo and the Cowboys for choking in December and the Playoffs (Romo's fumbled snap in the Playoffs might be a video of the day soon, wink wink nudge nudge), and for how they haven't done jack squat in the Playoffs for about fifteen years.
So, for all of our disdainment of "Americas Team", lets us join with all of the other Americans who do not live in Texas and enjoy watching them lose. This time, with the overtime game from the 2008 season where a great performance from Kurt Warner along with big plays by Sean Morey and J.J. Arrington improved the Cardinals record to 4-2 and sent all of the Cowboys fans in attendance home crying.

Ah yes,
The blocked punt that one the game, one of the many bright spots of that season.
But
I was SOOOO upset that they gave up that Barber play in regulation. INEXCUSABLE
Like the Cardinals? Revenge of the Birds is where to go.
Like Arizona Sports in general? SB Nation Arizona is where you'll get it all.

Who was offsides on the spike?
couldn’t see anyone along the LOS that was offsides? Where was he?
You've been Stroh'd™!!!

Way down on the other end of the field
I remember from the stands nobody could tell what the hell was going on with the call.

the messed up part is that an injured player on the field should stop the clock
There never should have been an offsides call on the spike, that was a terrible error on the official’s part.
We all bleed Cardinal Red, but most of us don't recognize it!

That was a kickass game to be at
Though regrettably I was late arriving to the stadium and missed JJ’s opening kickoff return…
Walking up through the east lot, you could hear the roar inside as it was happening.

That game gave me an ulcer.
I remember watching the game with a Cowboys fan and running screaming with joy from the room and down the hallways of my apartment when they blocked that kick. And holy cow, that 3rd and 17 Hightower picked up the first down, amazing.
I love how many guys we knocked out of that game.
Knocked out Felix Jones, broke Romo’s pinkie, broke McBriar’s foot, I think Pacman got hurt too…ahhh what a game. I miss seeing the Cards play well…
This was a great game
Even though the Cards relaxed and let the Cowboys back into the game, it was very exciting, and to end on a blocked punt for a TD? Wow.
I remember jumping off my couch and hitting my hand on the ceiling fan, knocking my beer out of my hand and spilling it all over the room when he blocked that punt. My wife was NOT happy!
