So awhile ago, I posted an article/poll about the Cards' draft needs for 2012. It can be found by clicking here. There were 90 votes on the poll, (thank you for participating). The majority of those votes were for the OT position. (54/90) Which segues perfectly into the Cards 1st round draft pick for 2012, as seen from the folks at nflmocks. The link to their 2012 mock is here.
They have the Cards picking at spot #10 (Finishing 2nd in the division BTW). And with the 10th pick, they select Matt Kalil, OT, USC. Many sites have Kalil rated the #1 OT at this point in pre-draft time. They tout his strong NFL bloodlines, as his father and brother play or played. To give you perspective, Kalil is the reason that Dallas #10 draft pick this year played ROT, and I've heard only praise about Tyron Smith.
