RotB Pick'em 4.0: Week 2 Results & Week 3 Picks

The second week of RotB Pick'em 4.0 looked tough at first glance considering the uncertainties of the early season. Nevertheless, it was a strong week for the majority of participants with many posting six correct picks if not more. In fact, cardinalbrown pitched a perfect week of picks. Congratulations on a relatively rare feat in Pick'em history (third time, maybe the fourth ever?) Those that didn't fare well, no worries, the season is still young and Pick'em is an endurance run, not a series of sprints. Atop the rankings sits one of those sprinters, four-year Pick'em veteran, KDean75, whose .875 winning percentage gives him the Week 2 lead.

So much for going "cute" last week...
Cincinnati (WTF? Yeah, I think the Bengals will take the Niners at home.)
Philadelphia (All depends on Vick really, stay tuned.)
Minnesota (Detroit is hot BUT divisional foes prove tricky, especially on the road)
Atlanta (This contradicts what I just said, I know)
Green Bay (Okay, maybe I should go with Detroit after all)
Arizona (Seachickens are playing like what we thought the Bengals would play like)
Pittsburgh (Think NBC wishes they could flex this game out?)
Dallas (Depends on Romo to some extent)

Cincy — Who are these guys, really?
Philly — Only if Vick plays
Minny — Expecting a pride performance to happen and a letdown by DET
ATL — Ride the momentum from Sunday night win
Chicago — No Nick Collins and Cam Newton gashed their secondary. Cutler is going to do the same. They play well at home.
AZ — Because if they lose to Seattle, they might as well not come back to AZ
Pitt — I wanna see if anyone has the balls to take Indy here.
Dallas — also a decision based on Romo, I think.
Like the Cardinals? Revenge of the Birds is where to go.

That blows….
I even remember cursing the Brown's name for screwing me the week before in the KO pool
And proceeded to pick the Colts…ugh
I picked WAS
Because honestly while the Cards D is bad, it shows maybe WAS is better than expected after watching Newton put up another 400 yard game on the vaunted GB defense.
Or maybe it just says that GB’s D is also overrated…

Packers did have some injuries in their secondary
Collins and Tramon were both out. Guessing that is what they are blaming it on anyway.

Cincinnati (hopefully the west coast teams playing on the east coast thing, will have an affect)

Cin- No SF love.
Phi- Giants are more depleted than a home Philly team.
Det- Not cause they’re that good, but cause Minny is that whack.
Atl- Toss up.
Zona- Nuff said.
Pit- The Peyton’s look just awful.
Dal- The skins beating us was a fluke. We won’t lose another game till next preseason.
