After a disappointing loss against the Washington Redskins this Sunday, we find ourselves sitting at 1-1 and have a team full of disappointment and promise. On defense we have a new coordinator who is trying to install a new system. From a talent standpoint we have everything we need for a top 10 unit in the front 7, but our secondary may have the talent, but need the reps to learn it what is supposed to be a complex system, having surrendered nearly 1000 yards ( that's right 1000 yards) in 2 games, the bottom line is we are 11th in points allowed.
On offense we make quite a trade in the off-season to get a QB, and while I wasn't for getting Kolb for the price we paid, I have to admit it is great to see Fitz getting a ball or two deep down the field again. Kolb has come just as advertised. We can move the ball as well as anyone through the air, and our ground game has been very effective.
This last Sunday we saw Beanie slowly taking the lead in the "Running back defensive backs want to avoid" category this season, time to start getting inside of our opponents' heads. My take on how we get above .500 and hold it, Feed Beanie 15+=Victory.
