Going back to 15 minute quarters for this week, and the Super Sim mode is still being used. With that said, lets get on to the sim.
The Cardinals got the scoring going early in the first half, with an 11 yard scoring pass from Kevin Kolb to Andre Roberts to put the Cardinals up 7-0. After that they just traded field goals for the rest of the half to make the score 10-3 going into halftime with the Cardinals leading.
In the third the Seahawks were able to tie the game with a 19 yard run by Tarvaris Jackson. Then we got some excitement in the fourth quarter. Beanie Wells had a four yard run and Sidney Rice caught a three yard pass from Jackson to tie the game at 17, then late in the game the tendency of these sims to have 70 yard scoring plays continued, this one being a 78 yard pass to Stephen Williams from Kolb.
After that, the Cards were able to hold on for a 24-17 win against the Seahawks, and push their record in Madden to 3-0.
The Cards were able to play a solid game, the Seahawks did score 17 points but their offense was outgained by 100 yards, Tarvaris Jackson also couldn't get anything going downfield while Kolb went on to have another decent game with a long scoring pass. For some reason in these sims, QBs have a hard time completing more than 50% of their passes though.
Beanie also got a bunch of carries but didn't manage to get a lot of yards. We also got to see a fourth down conversion by the Punter from each team which is something odd to see, that ain't happening in the real game (even though Ryan had one against us in 09).
