9/8/11 NFL is back
Let's not fool ourselves. The Packers are the defending world champs. Until they aren't the team to beat, they are the team to beat. The Saints, they're a year removed from being world champs. Both offensive untis feature marquee names. Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers are elite caliber QBs. The Saints have a superb running game, and the addition of Heisman winner Mark Ingram only made them better. For the Packers, Donald Driver and Greg Jennings create matchup issues. One the defensive side of the ball, both teams are above average units, however they are both capable of giving up the big play. Look for a high scoring game. And pay attention, because the Cardinals could end up seeing the Saints in the playoffs.

Each offensive is excellent tonight. And special teams? Crazy.
Just a guy, because I was born that way.
Well it didn't disappoint as a shootout....
glad GB pulled out the win, but I think both have the talent to see each other again in the playoffs.
Great opener for the NFL after the lockout though. Exciting to the last play.

Not sure if the defenses should be worried....
or just chalk it up to good offenses….
probably a bit of both.

Goodell's dream of the NFL turning into nothing but 7 on 7 pass on every play is coming to fruition.
