With Arizona TV viewers watching the Arizona Cardinals for the last time this season and knowing they can't go to the playoffs, for those that love to watch important football, it is vitally important to know what is on the local airwaves. Aside from the Cardinals game, four pretty intriguing games are on the TV schedule.
Hit the jump for more.
To start, there are two early games on TV in Arizona.
On CBS, the New York Jets visit the Miami Dolphins. Calling that game will be Greg Gumbel and Dan Dierdorf. The Jets can get in the playoffs with a win and some help.
The other early game has Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers visiting Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints on FOX. Joe Buck and Troy Aikman will call the game. New Orleans needs a win and a 49ers loss to secure a first round bye.
There is no late game on TV except for the Cardinals game. They host the Seattle Seahawks in a battle for second place in the NFC West and an 8-8 record. Sam Rosen and Chad Pennington will call the game, which is good news if Patrick Peterson is able to play. Each of the other four times Rosen called a Cardinals game, Peterson returned a punt for a touchdown.
The Sunday night game pits the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium. The winner will win the NFC East. Cardinals fans could have a small vested interest in the game, looking ahead to the 2012 NFL schedule. If the Eagles have lost, then the Cardinals will host the loser of this game next season. As this is the Sunday Night Football game, it will air on NBC and Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth will call the game.
If you have NFL Sunday Ticket, here is the full TV schedule with the channels you can find all the games.
