FIRST OFF.... (also CC stuff)

Sorry all I made the moderators mad again.... If I offended anyone then im just being myself. Oh well. I have learned no yelling directlly at someone.... that is key.. so I am going to make up Carl.... stay tuned....

So Calais Campbell. Im going to give him a few adjetives to describe him. Beast, athletic, tall, long..... underachiever.

I love Calais Campbell and think the AZ Cardinals need to pay the man NOW! (Rod if you need any help im here for you). So that being said I think he underachieved this year and here is why.

I tend to think that Darnell Dockett gets double teamed most of the time, at least this is the case for downs stats for him. I am going to assume this. Now their are 5 down linemen all the time to account to the cardinals 5 down linemen. That being said they already have to keep a TE or a back in to double Dockett If this is the case there is no way that CC is getting doubled as well that would mean they are using 7 guys to block 5 guys include the QB that means their is 3 people running a route vs 6 db's and LB's. So Why did CC only have 8 sacks.

I just want a coach like Hailey did to Fitz to push him to be better. CC, like Larry, Can be one of the greatest in the game for the next 10 years and his prime years is right now. While they are doubling another trouble maker on the line. Push him harder coach.

Now that being said here is what I think we should pay him.:

5 year 2.5 million per year with escalators, (thinking 13 sacks makes him another million bucks), 22 million signing bonus. so total to cap is 6.9 million for 5 years. Right on par with DD which is what the man needs to be paid.

*On a side note I like Kolb and think he should get another year. That being said... if you have a chance to get Peyton Manning GO GET HIM. Love you Kolb but your not Manning

Man CC had a hell of a year

If that’s underachieving then wow. Imo he did great, didn’t over-achieve, didn’t under achieve. He met all expectations and maybe a little beyond. For a 3rd year player he was impressive. He had the best season of almost all 5 tech DE in the NFL.

Him being 6’8 is a blessing and a curse. Working the trenches and beating Offensive Guards n tackles is all about leverage. For somebody that size to be dominant, they have to have near perfect technique. And Valais was almost dominant this season.

I agree DD is better, experience alone makes DD a better player the CC. But if CC can find the passion and heart that dockett plays with, he can be better the dockett eventually. All my opinions of course.

He did have a good year.....

Its just IMO we are looking at a 12 sack a year man x 10 years left in the league we are looking at Top 15 in NFL History in sacks. These are the years to get them because Dockett wont be around forever and soon he will be double teamed because people are more afraid of him. We need a coach to push him harder thats just my opinion.
