With the Jaguars set to play there next season, Arizona might be taking the trip across the pond.
From 2013 to 2016, the Jacksonville Jaguars will play one home game each season in London, England. The Arizona Cardinals could be that opponent next season.
As Sports Illustrated's Peter King reported, the NFL will announce Thursday which opponent the Jaguars will face on Oct. 27, 2013, in London. Jacksonville, which will play one "home" game at Wembley Stadium from 2013-16, could host the 49ers, Chiefs, Cardinals, Chargers, Titans, Colts or Texans.
Since games have begun to be played each year in London, teams that play there have not been division rivals. That would eliminate the Titans, Colts and Texans, leaving the 49ers, Chiefs, Cardinals or Chargers.
Arizona has lost a home game like this before, but it was to play in Mexico City, which they did in 2005 against the San Francisco 49ers.
Would you like to see the Cardinals travel to London? They tend to have a hard enough time in the East Coast. Granted, both teams will be equally affected. As cool as it would be for the players, I'd rather see the Cards stickto the US.
