NFL picks against the spread: You have to go with the Steelers, right?

Pittsburgh takes on the struggling Titans on Thursday Night Football

Week 6 in the NFL is here and it starts in Nashville as the Pittsburgh Steelers take on the Tennessee Titans as the featured game on Thursday Night Football. Pittsburgh enters the game as a six-point road favorite. Tennessee is 1-4 and the Steelers are 2-2. So which team will cover their spread?

Pittsburgh has their defense on the mend, but will be without linebacker Lamar Woodley. But beside that, you have to look at the losses that the Titans have suffered this season. Their four losses have come by 21, 18, 24 and 23 points. They have one win over the Detroit Lions. And...starting QB Jake Locker is still out, so Matt Hasselbeck will get the start.

The moral of the story? Considering the manner in which the Titans have been losing this season, you have to do the easy thing and figure that if they are to lose, it will be by a large margin. The only way they cover is by winning straight up. Do you think that will happen against the Steelers, even at home? I don't.

Pick: Steelers, -6.
