Scott Rovak-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire
Friday's injury report for the Arizona Cardinals came with the news that it is highly unlikely that the team will be at full strength this week.
I guess I didn't realize the extent of the injuries that the Cardinals sustained in their game against the Rams until now. After seeing the injury report for the past couple of days, I thought for sure only a couple of players would not be able to participate on Sunday. Instead, it is looking like a good handful won't play.
Here is the final injury report before the Cards take on the Bills at University of Phoenix Stadium.
Full
LaRod Stephens-Howling (hip)
Adam Snyder (elbow)
John Skelton (ankle)
William Powell (head)
Paris Lenon (knee)
Lenon is a new addition to the report after being good to go in the last two practices. It appears that he may have suffered the injury late in the Thursday practice. He is now questionable to play on Sunday. The rest of the players listed above are probable.
Limited
Darnell Dockett (hamstring)
Jim Dray (knee)
Todd Heap (knee)
O'Brien Schofield (knee)
Michael Adams (hamstring)
Quentin Groves (hamstring)
Out of all the limited players, Michael Adams is the only one listed as doubtful. The rest are questionable to play on Sunday. The loss of Adams will hurt the depth at cornerback mightily with the uncertainty surround Greg Toler.
Did Not Participate
Anthony Sherman (knee)
Greg Toler (hamstring)
Reggie Walker (head)
All three of the non-participants are doubtful to play. The loss of Sherman hurts both at the fullback position and on special teams. Knowing how tough of a guy he is, he may try to give it a go, but that remains uncertain.
That is the complete injury report. Expect to see more of Stewart Bradley in the next game with both Walker and Lenon ailing. William Gay, Jamell Fleming and newcomer Crezdon Butler will have bigger roles to play as well.
