On Thursday Night Football, two NFC rivals go at it, just as it was two weeks previous. But instead of the Rams and the Cardinals, it is the Seattle Seahawks and the San Francisco 49ers that will tango on Thursday night on NFL Network. Vegas has the home team Niners favored. But what do we say with out picks against the spread?

Currently, San Fran is favored by seven and a half points. Seattle likes to play close games and both teams have very good defenses.

However, the Niners have won 10 straight games home games against NFC West rivals. They are 8-1 against the spread in the last nine. More importantly, the home team is 4-1 straight up in Thursday night games.

The moral of the story? I'm not making the mistake of picking the road team again, as I have for the last two weeks.
