Whose fault is it when the Cardinals lose? Is it the Coach "Whisenhut" (or the coaching staff) or players on the field?
The Cardinals initially stepped out with a respectable and truly shocking 4 - 0 start of the 2012 season and the fans responded by going wild! AZ Cardinals mania, so to speak. Yes the 4 wins were very decent wins!
A home stadium win against the division Seattle Seahawks is always a good thing! Following with a road win against the Tom Brady led Patriots ..Yes the Cardinals won on the road in New England!
That was followed up by soundly beating a Mike Vick led Eagles team that is trying to find their own rhythm and then reality hit the Cardinals.
They then showed their struggles offensively at UofP Stadium against an upstart rookie QB (Tannehill) and rookie coach (Joe Philbin) only to be bailed out by the Cardinals defensive who gave the Cardinals a chance to win it in overtime. Now back to reality.
The Cardinals have dropped three (3) games in a row with the same coaching, the same offensive line (minus an injured Brown) the same KB that started the season and the same hard hitting defense. Who do the fans fault now that the Cardinals cannot seem to win a game?
St. Louis is a division rival! It seems Jeff Fisher (an ex team-mate of this author @ USC) truly out-coached the Cardinals staff (at least with the defensive rush) to win this game handily.
The Cardinals loss to Buffalo seemed like bad coaching or bad blocking? Or was it bad coaching of bad blockers? Or was it bad special teams coaching with missed field goal at the end of regulation (after the defense got the ball back for the Cardinals) or a bad kicker (who actually tied the game with a season long field goal earlier)? Or was it a dropped pass by the Hyphen (Stephans-Howling)? Or who ever you might want to blame. Was that a badly coached game and played by badly coached players or just a bad game?
My guess the Cardinals season will turn around by game 15 against the Detroit Lions, unless the offensive line can learn from coaches over the next few weeks to scheme block better or they are replaced by players who can block....
