As the Cardinals sit on their couches today and watch the rest of the NFL play, they will also be preparing for the run heavy and defensively gifted San Francisco 49ers on Monday night. Arizona needs this win to break their three game slump, but may be trying to get it without some of their biggest players. Here are the statuses of all the injured players and the outlook as to whether they will play or not.
DNP:
Kevin Kolb (ribs, out)
Greg Toler (hamstring, doubtful)
Limited:
Darnell Dockett (hamstring, probable)
Jim Dray (knee, questionable)
Jamell Fleming (back, questionable)
Todd Heap (knee, questionable)
Kerry Rhodes (back, questionable)
Anthony Sherman (knee, questionable)
Adam Snyder (quadriceps, questionable)
Full:
James Sanders (knee, probable)
Michael Adams (hamstring, questionable)
Calais Campbell (quadriceps, probable)
Quentin Groves (hamstring, probable)
Paris Lenon (ankle, probable)
John Skelton (ankle, probable)
O'Brien Schofield (knee, probable)
Reggie Walker (head, probable)
With the status of Heap and Dray still up in the air, expect to see plenty of snaps for Jeff King and Rob Housler. If Snyder does not get the start at right guard, Rich Ohrnberger will likely be the guy Coach Whisenhunt calls on. Dockett being listed as probable is great news for the Cardinals if they want to push back they very underrated 49ers offensive line to get to Alex Smith.
