The undefeated Texans take on a bruised and battered Jets team.
On Monday Night Football, to conclude Week 5, the 4-0 Houston Texans take on a 2-2 New York Jets team that feels like it is 0-4. Losing Darrelle Revis on defense and Santonio Holmes on offense for the season makes winning the rest of the season seem like something out of reach.
But what of this game and the betting line for Vegas?
The Texans are nine-point road favorites. They have looked every bit the contender they have been expected to be. The Jets? They have struggled. They are coming off of a 34-0 beatdown from the San Francisco 49ers. Is there any hope for the Jets against the Texans? Nope.
They lack their best players on both sides of the ball. Mark Sanchez will see pressure from Houston's front seven.
The biggest question is whether nine points is enough to give away?
Our pick? Take the Texans and give up the points.
