With the bye week finished, the Cardinals managed to get a lot healthier along all lines. Their injury report is down to just 9 players with only two that are not practicing. As for the Falcons, the Cardinals' next opponent, they have 12 players listed with various wounds.
Here are the full injury reports:
Falcons
DNP- Kevin Cone (groin), Julio Jones (ankle), Charles Mitchell (calf), Sean Weatherspoon (ankle)
LP- John Abraham (back), Johnathan Babineaux (thigh), Harry Douglas (ankle), Tony Gonzalez (shoulder), Stephen Nicholas (groin), Vance Walker (ribs)
FP- Mike Peterson (foot), Michael Turner (groin)
Cardinals
DNP- Calais Campbell (calf), Kevin Kolb (ribs)
LP- Jamell Fleming (back), Todd Heap (knee), Jeff King (knee), Mike Leach (back), Adam Snyder (quadricep), Greg Toler (hamstring)
FP- Kerry Rhodes (back)
It seems that, just as we suspected, Calais Campbell is in fact injured. At this point, I doubt he is able to go on Sunday. On the bright side, Todd Heap may finally return, but that is still unknown.
As for the Falcons, they are missing a couple of really big pieces. If Julio Jones can't go and if Douglas is ailing, who do they turn to?
