Those are the options so what do you choose ? The cards have got themselves in a bit of a quandary. We lost winnable games to Buffalo, Minnisota, Rams and Atlanta ( however unlikely that was ). We should be sitting here at 8-2 eyeballing a first round bye and that last game of the season for the division crown. Instead, we reeled off 6 straight losses and staring at a high 1st round pick, a sub 500 record or a could it be a miraculous finish to a wild card spot ?

Likely nobody believes that the cards can finish with 10 wins and even if they do will that be good enough chasing wildcard spot leaders Seattle, Da Bears, New Orleans, Minnesota and Tampa Bay. Especially doing it with a rookie QB and two rookie tackles. I am here to tell you though there is one way we can make it happen, Defense.

The defense that played in The 1st game of the season, the defense that played agains NE, the defense that played against Atlanta. We have in my mind games that are winnible with defense like that and a rookie QB, Rams and Jets. After that let's say Kolbs back and comes back on fire. Yes it's a big IF but if that is the case and the defense continues to play like a top level defense, we will have our opportunities against Seattle, Da Bears, Detroit and SF.

So now that we have reeled off 6 straight losses its time to reel of 6 straight wins and an opportunity for a playoff appearance. We have the Defense to do it. They've shown us that. Now it's time to quit screwing around on offense and just win.

if your not going to give it all you got now cards. If your not going go deep vs. a 1 yard run up the middle on every 1st down. If your not going to do a reverse or go for it on 4th down. If your not going to do whatever it takes to win. Then please do whatever it takes to get the best draft position possible because 8-8 mediocre is not good enough.
