The Arizona Cardinals and the St. Louis Rams have released their inactive lists for their Week 12 contests, and for Arizona there is a clear message being sent. They are unhappy with tight end Todd Heap. Despite fully practicing all week and being healthy, he is inactive today. Likewise, Calais Campbell and Early Doucet will not play, but due to injury.
Campbell is still recovering from a calf injury and Doucet was limited all week in practice with a rib injury. That will give David Carter another chance to start at defensive end, and it will force rookie receiver Michael Floyd to step up and be more productive after he found his way to the bench last week because of mental mistakes.
Here is the full list of Cardinals inactives.
- DE Calais Campbell
- WR Early Doucet
- TE Todd Heap
- G Senio Kelemete
- QB Kevin Kolb
- T Pat McQuistan
- RB Alfonso Smith
For the Rams, receiver Danny Amendola, who did not practice all week, will be active for the game, but we will see how much playing time he gets.
Here are the Rams' inactives:
- QB Austin Davis
- WR Steve Smith
- RB Terrence Ganaway
- LB Mario Haggan
- OL Chris Williams
- T Joe Barksdale
- DT Matt Conrath
