Once again on Monday Night Football, we have a matchup that at the start of the season looked intriguing. It was supposed to be the young phenom Cam Newton battling a quarterback he was compared to -- Michael Vick. The Panthers were supposed to be on the way up and the Eagles were supposed to be Super Bowl contenders.

The reality is that it is not marquee at all. Philadelphia has lost six straight games and the Panthers are struggling as well. The Vegas line actually has the Eagles as home dogs, with Carolina favored by three points.

Almost 65 percent of the money is going Carolina's way, and understandably so. Philly is without Vick or LeSean McCoy, both recovering from concussions. They are the two biggest threats on offense. They will start rookie Nick Foles, who only was able to muster six points of offense a week ago.
