I am so perplexed about the loyal following of the Arizona Cardinals. How can a team with a losing history pull the wool over the eyes of so many fans? We are talking about a team that since 1920 has recorded a record of 502-706 (I am not including ties in this). That is a winning percentage of 41.55%. I understand that we are talking about years in which the cards were not in Arizona. So let's break down the Arizona teams. They came to the valley in 1988, and since have recorded a record of 145-239. That is a win percentage of 37.76%, definitely not getting better.

Now if we actually break down the winning seasons the team has had. In the 24 seasons that bidwill has been able to sell his winning product, the team has had 3 winning seasons and 3 seasons of .500. That is 18 losing seasons out of 24. Yet bidwill convinces fans each year to support him and his family on a promise of a winning team next year. This will not happen. Only twice has bidwill allowed his team 2 consecutive winning years. He does not believe in winning, it is all about the fans hard earned check that concerns him. Give bidwill your money and he will be happy. There is a reason that St Louis wanted him gone 24 years ago.

I know that the really die hard out there are going to say I am just a cards basher. But that is far from the truth. I am anti bidwill, not anti cards. But until bidwill sells this team to a true owner/fan of the NFL, then the product will always be mediocre.

I listen to the local press on a daily basis. Every year it is the same story. Jump on the bandwagon, talk about the playoff hopes, and then call for the coaches job when that fails. A coach will never save this team. One good quarterback tried, and then he was gone shortly thereafter. When this team gets close to winning, bidwill will put all the dice back in the cup, shake it up, and hope the next roll is close to four 1's and a 2 (sorry yahtzee terminology). The point is that he will not allow a winning team on his watch. It is in the history, not some made up conspiracy theory. Bidwill is bad for the NFL, always has been. He is bad for the fans, always will be. If you believe that this team will ever be more than a losing product while bidwill is around, there should be no surprises when the team comes up short.

I generally don't comment much about this team and I realize that this is a fan site. But all I ask is that maybe some of you will wake up and stop supporting bidwill. I am not against having an NFL team in Arizona, but I am against supporting someone that isn't willing to put a winning product on the field.
