I was in Sun Devil Stadium from 1994 to 1999
Now those were some Crappy years, (1998 not withstanding). I see what the bidwells did during those stretch runs with free agents using us to get more money somewhere else, and piss poor draft classes. I Saw the owners not willing to pay more than minimum wage (for a coach anyways). Do you know that Ken Whisenhunt is the 6th (tied with Mike Tomlin) highest paid coach in the NFL? That never happened before this year.
You people need to understand they are different from what this team was 20 years ago almost when i started going to the games. In this world of what have you done for me lately its sad people look back at the way things were because what i see in what have you done for me lately is 2 NFC West Crowns 2 losing seasons in 6 years (only done once before this in 20 years) an appearance in a Super Bowl, and difficultly replacing a Hall of Fame QB. (Please See Denver, John Elway and SF Joe Montana/Steve Young, and Dallas Cowgirls Troy Akman)
It is nice to see that the fans expect more from their team than 20 years ago. But this is not the owners fault. Give some credit to Michel Bidwell, he has tried to put a winning product on the field, and succeeded for the most part, this year not withstanding, though i believe that this team could of easily of won 10 or 11 games (Kevin Kolb stayed healthy, 2 running backs stayed healthy, and (cant believe im saying this, Levi Brown didn't go down in preseason)
