The first injury reports from Wednesday's practices are out. Who is hurt and who is healing for the Cardinals and the Bears?
At this point, injuries are hardly a concern for the Arizona Cardinals. Their season is over, yet they will continue to fight for the final two games, as evidenced by their victory over the Detroit Lions last week. Unfortunately, they may be without on of their heroes from last week as they get ready to host the Chicago Bears. Rashad Johnson did not practice on Wednesday with a hamstring issue.
Here is the rest of the injury report via the team's official website:
LP- Calais Campbell (calf), Mike Gibson (calf), Quentin Groves (foot), Rob Housler (knee), Nate Potter (knee), Anthony Sherman (knee), Ronald Talley (ankle), Greg Toler (hamstring), Dan Williams (hamstring)
FP- Mike Leach (back/shoulder)
For the Cardinals, it appears Dan Williams is getting closer to a return after sitting out last week. What is worrying is the injury to Nate Potter, the team's starting left tackle. If he is unable to go, D'Anthony Batiste would slide back into his place.
For the Bears, I was surprised to see the amount of talent they have dealing with wounds right now. It's not just Urlacher, but Melton, McClellin and Jennings, all of whom are big pieces to their defense. We shall see how their status improves as the week goes on.
