4-12 Coming - Lets focus on 2013

If the following happened I believe most Cardinal fans would be excited for 2013:

Coaches/Front Office:

Fired - Rod Graves, Ken Whisenhunt, Russ Grimm, and Mike Miller

New GM - Steve Kleim

New Head Coach - Ray Horton

Horton can then bring in a new OC, QB Coach, and OL Coach. I like the idea of bringing in an up and coming offense coach who is learning in a great system, just like the way Horton moved from Defense Backs Coach to DC for AZ.

1st Round - (If Available) Matt Barkley. If he is not available then take the best OL.(I have a fear of Leinart 2.0, but you can't think that way). Barkley doesn't have the strongest arm, but he is smart with the ball and completes the majority of his passes. Columnist say he is similar to Matt Ryan. I am tired of "Strong Armed" QB's that Whiz loves (D Anderson, Skelton, and Lindley) but don't make great decisions and are inaccurate a lot of the times.

2nd Round - I would take the best available Offense Linemen if Barkley is taken in 1st round. If OL in 1st round then take best available QB.

3rd and 4th round - I would take one more OL and then the best available CB, Safety, OLB, or RB.

Free Agency:

Definite Signings;

QB - Sign either Matt Moore or Jason Campbell.

OL - Sign the best available Tackle and Guard. It is hard to tell who will actually be available (Majority of FA money should go here).

Maybe Signing:

RB - Sign Steven Jackson or Shonn Green. They would be great RB's to split time with either Wells or Williams. I lean toward Steven Jackson since he is great at the end of games with running out the clock.

Current Players:

Larod Stephens-Howling

Jay Felly

Kerry Rhodes

Kolb - Restructure if you can't sign either Moore or Campbell.

Adam Snyder - Bad signing and should be let go.

Player Notes:

Daryn Colledge - He is a decent guard that can start while a drafted guard learns and can eventually replace him.

Levi Brown - If we can draft or sign a starting LT then Levi brown can battle Massie for the RT position and the loser will be a decent backup along with Nate Potter.

Wells and Williams - Battle for RB spot in camp. I hope Cards sign or draft (3rd round) a RB that doesn't have health issues to split time with Wells or Williams. I would still keep LSH as the 3rd back and put him back at Kick Returner.

Final Note:

While fans may not agree with players I like I believe everyone will be happy if we did sign a Veteran QB and drafted a QB in either of the 1st 2 rounds and 2 OL drafted in first 4 rounds.
