A really great article from Ashley Fox over at ESPN detailing why Larry Fitzgerald is so clearly the best wide receiver in the NFL.

Lucky

we really do have to count ourselves lucky as fans that we support players like fitz. The closest thing to a diva we have is dockett and he is more jusst weird than a diva.

Dockett is just Intense and extreme

I’ve never heard him cry about “me” or money or his job. The furthest he ever went was saying he wasn’t a full believer in Hortons system until he really understood it. Docket is the most underrated D lineman in the league, he’s as good if not better then Justin Smith of SF and better then our own CC, but nobody recognizes Docketts skill besides real football people.

Agreed

He did kind of not buy into the system for a while this season but other than that he has been nothing but a team guy. And he is just beastly.

Good article, for ESPN haha

Really nice to see a player like Fitzgerald recognized for the type of person he is, not just the INCREDIBLE football player. I am so glad to have him on our team. I feel lucky to get to watch him go to work every week for Cardinal red.

The part that I found the most amazing

Was that Fitz has all of the team records memorized. I did not know that before reading this. There probably aren’t many players in ANY pro sports league that have done that.

+1

I remember reading about him knowing all the team records from one of the articles on the team site though.
