When Mike Adams steps on the field, he truly looks like an NFL left tackle. He added some bulk to his frame this season while maintaining the athleticism that made him a five-star recruit coming out of high school. At times, Adams dominated his opponents this season with his quick feet, long arms and ability to quickly get to the point of attack.

Hands
I was watching the Senior Bowl coverage during that week, and something that caught me attention was his response to a question he was asked during a quick onfield interview. The reporter said something about his big hands being an advantage and his response was: “They say it’s an advantage…”. I thought to mysefl…what?? Why does he not realize it is an advantage? Did anyone else hear that interview? That seemed to signal to me that he is a tremendous natural talent and had poor coaching, or he doesn’t treat his position as his craft. A craft where you would learn every advantage at your position to because you want to be the best and never get beaten. It was just an odd answer in my book.
He could of been referring to his hand size and the refs being able to see them so much easier when holding. IDK.
I like this kid which by now I’m sure all of ROTB knows.

I thought it was a little odd at the time, too
Hardly any of the players had great answers during those quick interviews, though.
This is from the latest mock by Bleacher Report. I find it funny how they say all these great things about him in the Pitt system which is spot on Grimm. A great combine and this kid isn't a reach at 13.
Mike Adams, OT, Ohio State
Mike Adams made his presence known in the Senior Bowl and now continues to climb up draft boards. The Steelers need help in solidifying their offensive line, and Adams fits the mold of linemen Pittsburgh loves to bring in.
Adams is a massive tackle that has great strength to go along with outstanding footwork. The Steelers could place him almost anywhere on the line and he could start and be effective. Protecting Ben Roethlisberger is key, and Adams will do just that in an impressive manner.

It sounds like Bucky has finally come to his senses.
4. Mike Adams, Ohio State: Adams might be the most talented offensive tackle in the 2012 class with his remarkable combination of size, strength and athleticism. There are few blockers in the NFL with his extraordinary physical gifts, and scouts are salivating over his pro potential after watching his dominant performance at the Senior Bowl. However, Adams must alter the perception of his inconsistent motor and focus by impressing scouts and coaches in interviews. He must demonstrate a strong work ethic by hustling in drills during the position-specific portion of the workout.
