2-20-12: Arizona Cardinals Bird Droppings - Knuckleheads

Yep, the only significant link I have for today is Whiz calling Kevin Kolb and John Skelton knuckleheads (fitting description though) along with something I forgot to put in the clipper a couple days ago. Geez this offseason is boring.

At least we got to see the Suns win last night along with getting a chance to laugh at all the Lakers fans prancing around on the postgame show acting like they owned the place even after losing by over 10 points.

It was a trying start to the 2011 season for the Arizona Cardinals -- posting a dismal 1-6 record out of the gate. So for general manager Rod Graves and head coach Ken Whisenhunt, the team's resiliency and fortitude en route to a 7-2 finish on the year was truly an extraordinary feat.

Suns snap 4-game skid with win over rival Lakers
It takes extreme measures nowadays for the Suns to defeat the Los Angeles Lakers. The last time the Suns pulled it off, they needed a franchise-record 22 3-pointers to win in November 2010. The Suns went to the extreme Sunday night to end a pair of four-game losing streaks -- for the season and for the Lakers series -- in a 102-90 victory at US Airways Center. The home fans were stoked early by the presence of Lakers fans but the home team gave them reason to stand in appreciation late for the first time this season.
