My only two choices on who we should take in the first round are,
David Decastro- This guy is being touted as a once in a decade prospect and is having a great combine showing. I know guard isn't a glaring need but if we are going to spend a first round pick on an offensive linemen, assuming he is still on the board when it's our turn this is a no brainer he needs to wear Cardinal red from his first offensive snap to his very last one.
Melvin Ingram- I don't think there is another player in the draft that has shown the versatility that Ingram displayed, he can cover TE's, play with his hand on the ground, and rush the edge like nobody's business. Next he is the prototypical size of an edge rushing menace, and apparently shed some weight for the combine (Can anyone say this year's Von Miller). So if a guy didn't need to do a thing but put up a good show for the combine you can probably be sure he is willing to go the extra mile for almost anything.
If neither of these two are on the board when we select that it would be best to trade down, and build depth to just let the cream rise to the top.
What's your thoughts?
