Very disappointing to see the Cardinals being so motivationally dormant in this off-season while many teams are talking to, negotiating, and signing free agents in hopes of fielding a stronger team this fall. While free agency is only one way to accomplish self-improvement, it certainly is part of the methodology. The other two being trades and drafts. Since the Cardinals, with the exception of siging Snyder, have done very little, if they don't initiate some decisive action in trades or during the draft, they can look forward to getting their butts kicked again this season. Pointing to the tail end of last season as a sign of improvement is a laugher. I will however credit Ray Horton for a great job on the D side of the ball. But the O side is pathetic. Beanie must go to bed praying for some OL help, and the QB's must go to bed praying for protection and another true WR threat to take some heat off Fitz and open up the field with another good weapon. They passed on every decent free agent WR and I am at a loss for why. Perhaps the Cardinals are dedicated to mediocrity since getting competitive means spending some money and knowing what you are doing. Maybe the only two things they need are a new owner and a new GM. I want to remain a fan but they aren't helping me do that.
