With the 18th selection of the 2012 NFL Draft, the San Diego Chargers select Cordy Glenn, OL, Georgia.

After the retirement of guard Kris Dielman and the release of left tackle Marcus McNeil, the Chargers' offensive line is going through changes. Glenn is a swing guy, meaning he's played both guard and tackle in college, but at 6-5 345 he's probably a better fit for guard. He manhandles defenders on the run and is very good in pass protection which fits perfect for the pass-first offense in San Diego.

Commentary:

There has been a lot of talk about the offensive linemen here on the site. His combine and workouts have shown that he can play both guard and tackle. The Chargers do need help on their offensive front, so someone with the flexibility to play more than position will be very helpful.
