Arizona Cardinals Begin Offseason Workouts Today, Calais Campbell To Sit Out

Today, Monday, April 16, the offseason schedule begins for the Arizona Cardinals. It isn't much. For the next two weeks, the players will work out only with strength and conditioning coach John Lott. There will be no work in helmets or pads, and the only time that a football can be used is quarterbacks throwing to uncovered receivers.

Calais Campbell, who has been franchised, is still working on a long-term deal and is expected to not participate, as these workouts are voluntary.

Already the players are getting excited. Check out some of the tweets:

While it is not much, it is the beginning of football.

Thank goodness!
