After seeing our schedule I was shocked. I just love seeing the NFL and NBA countinuosly f*ck Arizona sports teams. Whether its referees, unfair suspensions, or scheduling.
Our Arizona Cardinals have the toughest schedule in the league this year hands down. We play some pretty tough teams... but thats not it, the way the NFL chose to F*CK us this year is the way they scheduled our games.
Week 1 we play Seattle at home. Week 2 we travel 2,293.86 miles clear across the country to Boston. Week 3 we fly back home for a game against the Eagles and then Week 4 is another home game against Miami. After that folks, say goodnight. We then travel back and fourth week by week from the West coast to the East coast. Our Week 5 - Week 15 schedule is hands down the toughest schedule of any team for the season and tougher then I have seen for any team in the league in recent seasons. They picked the least convienent, most high mileage schedule they could.
From the Week 4 home game, we travel 1587.44 miles to St. Louis for our Week 5 game, which means 1587.44 miles back.
Week 6 we play Buffalo at home, then travel 1284 miles to Minnessota for our Week 7 match. Then we fly 1284 miles back home to PHX.
Week 8 is a home game against SF, then we travel 1484.98 miles to GB for our Week 9 match, then 1484.98 miles back home to PHX.
We get our Week 10 BYE Week, then travel 1589 miles to Atlanta for our Week 11 match up. Then we fly 1589 miles back to AZ.
Week 12 is a home game against St. Louis, then we travel 2119.05 miles to New York to face the Jets Week 13. Which means 2119.05 miles back to AZ.
Week 16 is another home game against Chicago, and then we take our first short trip (810 miles) of the season to San Francisco to face the Niners in Week 17.
Wow brutal right? Well lets do the math and see just how brutal.
Get ready people...... We travel 25,366 miles!!!!!!!
How fun!!! Just another thanks to the F*CKS @ NFL that love to hate Arizona!!!
