It looked like it would come down to either offensive tackle Riley Reiff or Notre Dame receiver Michael Floyd when teh Arizona Cardinals were on the clock. They saw a barrage of trades happen before them and were even rumored to have been in a deal to trade back with the New York Jets, but in the end, Arizona took the receiver -- Michale Floyd.
Adam Schefter tweeted that the organization had told Larry Fitzgerald that if Floyd were available that he would be the pick for the team.
Floyd is considered the second best receiver in the draft and the scouting report on Floyd from Mocking The Draft says that he has the strength and technique to separate from press coverage at the line of scrimmage, that he works well on underneath routes and excels against zone coverage.
He has drawn comparisons to former Cardinals receiver Anquan Boldin.
