#1 priority on next seasons to do list: Extending D-Wash

After the Campbell extension it got me to thinking who else this team needs to lock up

We all can agree that Washington is one of the best defensive players on the team and has made us all forget about Dansby. While Dansby was a great Cardinal, Washington is younger and cheaper ($490,000 for Washington to $8.8 Mil for Dansby). Washington can lock up one of the MLB spots for the next 10 years plus for this team, and plays the run and pass very well. I dont need to tell any of you how good he is or what he can do because if you are on this site you are not an average Cardinals fan. I was just thinking about what other playmakers this team hasnt yet taken care of and Daryl was the only one I could think of. I would really like to see Hyphen extended, I think there is still a lot of untapped potential in his game if only we had a creative O-Coordinator. But for now, lets all be happy that we FINALLY have a real football team and a great owner(cant believe I can say that with a straight face, and I speak of the good son) who the fans know will take care of the players that deserve it. So thats on the top of my to do list for next year. Lets get Daryl locked up and keep this D headed upward. What do you think Redbird fans? Did I miss someone else?
