Arizona Cardinals 2012 Milestones: Kicker Jay Feely Could Reach FG Mark

The past few days, we have been looking at the Arizona Cardinals as a franchise and as individual players, seeking out milestones that could be reached realistically in the 2012 season. So far, the team could reach 500 wins as a franchise and Larry Fitzgerald probably will reach 10,000 career receiving yards.

The next one features kicker Jay Feely.

Feely has 274 career made field goals. It will take the offense moving the ball into field goal range, but it is possible for him to reach 300 career field goals. He has kicked over 26 four times in his career.

Should he reach 300, he would join the 23 others that have reached that mark.

He made 24 in 2010 and only 19 in 2011, and the offense struggled mightily in both years.

Among active kickers, he has the ninth highest total.

ROTB community? Will he reach it this season? Do we want him to...or would that mean not enough touchdowns?
