Well, putting together a flag football team is much different. You want versatility. You could go with the quarterback you want to throw the ball, but you have to take in to consideration that that guy also has to play on the defensive side of the ball. In a perfect world, you would get a guy that could do it all -- run, cover, catch and maybe even throw.
With my first pick, I get almost all that. He is fast, he plays defense, he is elusive, he has some size, while we have not seen him catch passes, we know he has good hands. The only thing that is unknown is whether he could throw the ball, but I have a plan for that.
So with my first pick, I select Patrick Peterson. He is a playmaker, he is fast, he will be able to produce on both offense and defense.
