Wow, that was an intense game and it lived up to our slogan, "It's not a true Cardinals game until someone has a heart attack". I had eight of them over a span of 40 seconds. Anyways, you guys know how this works, I'll name some players I see deserving of the Player of the Game and you vote. If you disagree or think someone else warrants it, hit 'other' and tell us who in the comments.
John Skelton: Yes he suffered a potentially season ending ankle injury, and he did fizzle late in the game, but he did put points on the board first, he stood in the pocket, making one mistake which was an incredibly lucky and amazing play by the Seahawks defense. His stat line, whilst unimpressive, was 14/28 149 yards 0 TD's and 1 INT. He showed better accuracy in this game than he did throughout the entire preseason and last year.
Daryl Washington: This man was everywhere. 10 total tackles and a sack to start off the season. Missed a few tackles, but lit up the ball carrier 95% of the time.
Paris Lenon: Another good player today. 8 tackles-1 assist, and 2 sacks. He recovered a fumble on the backwards pass by Wilson.
Andre Roberts: Made an untimely drop on a drive late in the third quarter, but made up for it on the final score of the game.
To me the player of the game is Roberts. Made nice grabs early in the game with Skelton, and made the game winner late in the game with Kolb.
