2012 NFL Power Rankings: Arizona Cardinals Trending Up (For Some)

Stay connected for news and updates

After one win by the Arizona Cardinals over the Seattle Seahawks, many so-called experts are changing their tune a little bit about where the team stands compared to the rest of the league Randy put together our own team rankings from top to bottom, not that it means anything now other than a way to discuss our thoughts on the rest of the league.

Where do the Cardinals stand now? Hit the jump to find out.

Cody Ulm for SB Nation Arizona put the Cardinals at 19 after one week.

The defense and special teams are there but I'm waiting to jump on the Kolb bandwagon till after the Patriots game. Still, it's remarkable that the magic from the end of last year hasn't evaporated. The Cardiac Cardinals never left gang.

Joel Thorman at SB Nation NFL, who previously put Arizona 31st, brought the Cards up to 27th, yet inexplicably below the Seahawks.

Yes, I have Arizona behind Seattle even though the Cardinals beat the Seahawks. I still think Seattle is the better team and would win that game more often than not.

Pete Prisco over at CBS gave the Cards more love to start. After the win, he moved them up a spot from 19 to 18.

It's Kevin Kolb time with John Skelton hurt. If he plays like he did on the game-winning drive against Seattle, the Cardinals could compete in the division.

FoxSports.com actually had the Cardinals drop a spot from 26 to 27 after a win. Strange.

The Cardinals snuck out of Week 1 with a victory, just as they did against the Panthers last season. But also like last season, they still have question marks all over the field, particularly at the QB position. You start Skelton, he goes down, and Kolb leads you to a comeback victory. Another year of QB controversy.

Jason Brewer at SB Nation Philly still has Arizona near the bottom, ranked 24th.

Has Kevin Kolb done what Michael Vick did to him and stolen the starting job 2 quarters into a season?

Where would you put the Cardinals at this point in the season? It has been only one game.
