What we learned today

The Cardinals defense was great (as I expected. Though much better than I anticipated. Certainly felt like they wanted to make a statement). Amazing. They outplayed the patriots offense for over 50 minutes of the game. 4 sacks, one INT, and many pressures.

I am an objective person. You guys have watched Stevan Ridley. What do you guys think of him?

Hernandez went out of the game. While that was a big blow, the pats have a bunch of weapons anyways. You guys played very good run defense, and good pass defense. Both teams, but I have to say mostly with the pats, have dropped key passes. Our OL was beat up.

You guys ran well against our run defense. We boast a strong run defense, and you guys did well against it. I would say that our defense was out on the field a lot, but you guys still ran well.

Well actually I think both defenses played very well today. Your first TD came from a blocked punt. But that's part of the game, just like that fumble Spikes made.

What I've learned, personally, that the pats offense needs to get more consistent. It's hard not to notice some of those key drops, and I hope to god Hernandez is okay. The offense turned it on when it needed to, and that was exciting for us pats fans to watch.

And what I learned on the Cards that if you take out Fitz, your offense is is not too good. Sorry, but that's just what I saw. Our defense came close more than a few times sacking Kolb, and Kolb showed good poise in the pocket You guys have to appreciate that from him.

Your front 7 is strong. Run defense is strong. And if you can play pass defense well against the pats, you should be good to go this season.

We couldn't make the plays that counted, so you guys ultimately deserved the win. Even if we made the field goal, its safe to say that you outplayed the pats for most of the game. All I can say is that it's good to at least get that first loss out of the way, as we know the pats will probably be in the post-season.

It's only two games into the season, so we both don't FULLY grasp our teams as a whole. Looking forward to the rest of the season greatly.

Thank you all for handling some of our homerism, and banter. And good luck on the season. :)
