When In Doubt, Pats Nation Has Good Humble Pie

The Arizona Cardinals earned this one.

They traveled across the country to play an early game that everyone told them couldn't be one. Instead they took advantage of a tipped pass as 3rd overall draft pick PP made the remarkable interception on the first play against an infamous offense. They blocked a punt and took full advantage of the opportunity. They weathered the storm of the Stevan Ridley and minimized Brady's chances. They did this despite the relentless pursuit of the Pats Front-7, a quiet game for Larry Fitzgerald, and a run-game that nearly lost them the game. They did this going up against guys like Rob Gronkowski and Brandon Lloyd who are never easy to defend. An underrated Defense had its coming out party, and an offense proved that they don't have to be a liability.

The Cards proved above all else that they have mental toughness. They fought the entire game when they had the lead, lost the lead, got it back, and then nearly saw it all fall apart in the final minute.

Well done guys, and here's to hoping to have a rematch in New Orleans.
