Darnell Dockett, along with three other players are doubtful for the Cardinals' game against the Dolphins on Sunday.
Thursday's injury report may have been a bit uninspiring, but Friday's is sure to put a damper on your spirits. The Cardinals are facing the possibility of going 4-0, but it looks like their quest has just become exponentially more difficult. Some of the team's top players are listed as doubtful to play against the Dolphins.
Darnell Dockett is unlikely to play, as he is listed doubtful on the final injury report leading up to the game. The team also has many listed as questionable, so the Cardinals may be facing a game in which many of their backups are thrust into starting roles.
Here is the final injury report of the week.
Adrian Wilson (ankle/groin), Rashad Johnson (hamstring), O'Brien Schofield (knee), Adam Snyder (elbow), John Skelton (ankle), Michael Adams (hamstring), James Sanders (calf), Anthony Sherman (hamstring): limited participants. All players that were limited are listed as questionable, outside of Schofield and Snyder, who are probable.
Dave Zastudil practiced in full and is probable to punt on Sunday.
It is definitely a good sign to see Snyder and Schofield as probable players for Sunday. They are each big pieces to their respective units. With Dockett unlikely to play, the Cardinals will need all the pass rushing help they can get.
As I have said before, I think Skelton remains questionable and does not dress as long as Kevin Kolb continues to roll. The team does not want to bring about another QB controversy.
Although the doubtful players have not been ruled out, they are all game time decisions and I sincerely doubt any of them play. In a game against the Dolphins and on a short week (the Cardinals play the Rams next Thursday), it would make more sense to sit them.
