We make picks against the spread for the late Sunday games.

With the late games all set to go, let us take a look at who will cover or not. The truth is these are not the best games in terms of matchups, but there were supposed to be. The Saints are 0-3 and the Packers are 1-2. Their game this week was supposed to be a possible playoff preview. If things keep going the way they have been, neither team may make it to the postseason. Anyway...on to our picks.

Miami Dolphins at Arizona Cardinals (-6): The Cards are favored for the first time this season against a very physical team. After manhandling the Eagles at home, Miami will provide a different challenge. Arizona always plays well at home, but with the Dolphins' style of play and the way the Cardinals have won over the last dozen games, I can't give six points. Cardinals win, but it will go down to the wire. Pick: Miami, +6.

Oakland Raiders at Denver Broncos (-7): Oakland took down the Steelers just a week ago and Peyton Manning does not look like he is at 100 percent. These teams hate each other, which lends itself to be a physical battle. A touchdown is too much to give away. Pick: Raiders, +7.

Cincinnati Bengals (-3) at Jacksonville Jaguars: The Bengals are the only road favorite in the late games. Andy Dalton has looked fantastic this year. The Jags have surprised, but this game goes as expected. Pick: Bengals, -3.

New Orleans Saints at Green Bay Packers (-8): Both teams have been disappointing. The Saints have been a disaster and the Packers just have not gotten the offense going. As such, it is just too hard to give eight points away. Plus, the Saints have to come around at some point. Pick: Saints, +8.

Washington Redskins at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-3): Both teams have been better than expected. RGIII will see his running abilities neutralized against Tampa's very good early defense. Pick: Bucs, -3.

New York Giants at Philadelphia Eagles (-1): The Eagles' offense has been so good...until the red zone and Michael Vick has been punished with hits. The Giants have one of the best group of pass rushers. However, this week is the one in which the Eagles and Vick put things together on national TV. Pick: Eagles, -1.
