Cardinals Vs. Seahawks: Injury Report Lists Beanie Wells As Questionable, James Carpenter Still Out

Stay connected for news and updates

The NFL season for the Arizona Cardinals begins tomorrow as they host the Seattle Seahawks at University of Phoenix Stadium to kick things off. There are plenty of story lines to go around for this game, including who each team is starting at quarterback. But one of the things we like to do before each matchup is provide you with some information on who will be playing.

According to the final injury report from Darren Urban on the Cardinals official website, Beanie Wells is listed as questionable to play, along with two other players for the Cards.

While Beanie is on the injury report, he apparently told Kent Somers that he fully expects to play. That's great news, as he adds a nice change of pace that compliments Ryan Williams in the ground game. Ironically, Beanie has only missed 3 games in his past 30 -- and all of them were against the Seahawks.

Along with Wells, Greg Toler and Adam Snyder are listed as questionable as well. There are no players that are expected to be completely out for this game. Snyder's elbow is still giving him issues, but Ken Whisenhunt expects him to play, according to Urban. As for Toler, his knee issues are always there, but now it is his hip that may be keepin him out. I expect him to try and give it a go on Sunday.

For the Seahawks, Marshawn Lynch is still questionable with his back spasms. He will be a game time decision, but I think he goes. The team's former first round pick, James Carpenter, will not be manning the tackle position this weekend, as he is listed as out. Wide receiver Golden Tate was having a nice training camp, but his knee will keep him out. Greg Struggs, a defensive end for Seattle, is out as well with a hamstring injury. Lastly, cornerback Byron Maxwell is listed as doubtful with a shoulder wound.

The good news is, Arizona is looking fairly healthy to begin the season. Let's hope it can remain that way.
