The Arizona Cardinals and the Seattle Seahawks are set to kick off soon for their regular season opener and the inactive lists have come out. There are no real surprises on the Cardinals' end. However, the biggest news (although not unexpected) is that running back Beanie Wells, who was questionable for the game with a hamstring injury, is active and will start for Arizona.
Hit the jump for the inactives for both teams.
Inactive for the Cardinals are:
- QB Ryan Lindley
- WR LaRon Byrd
- CB Greg Toler
- RB William Powell
- OLB Jamaal Westerman
- G Senio Kelemete
- T Pat McQuistan
For the Seahawks:
- RB Kregg Lumpkin
- CB Byron Maxwell
- G John Moffitt
- G James Carpenter
- WR Golden Tate
- DT Jaye Howard
- DE Greg Scruggs
For Seattle, Braylon Edwards will start at receiver in place of Tate.
As for the Cardinals, with only four active receivers, expect to see a lot of Todd Heap or Rob Housler out wide if the Cardinals go with a four-wide set. I imagine this will be a regular thing.
