While the Cardinals may or may not have had interest, the dominoes are starting to fall.
It didn't take long, but Oregon Ducks head coach Chip Kelly, just a day removed from his team's Fiesta Bowl victory, he has reportedly jumped ship the NFL. According to sources, he is about to be the head coach for the Cleveland Browns.
Tweeted the Rap Sheet:
.RT @rapsheet: BREAKING: Chip Kelly is close to a deal to become the #Browns coach, according to a source informed of his situation.

While the Cardinals only had possible speculated interest, it does affect the team. Defensive coordinator Ray Horton was a candidate for the job in Cleveland. If the report is true, this limits his options, making it a little easier to for Arizona to go through their process.
It also makes it a little more likely that, if the Cards for some reason do not hire Horton, he could stay and run the team's defense.
