During a short week of preparation, the the Arizona Cardinals and Seahawks have already completed their game planning prep for their Thursday night showdown on national television. With the short turnaround, health plays a big part for both teams. For Arizona, their two biggest injury concerns seem to be set to play on Thursday, while Seattle has a few key players pretty banged up.
For Arizona, they only had one player miss practice on Tuesday, and that was receiver Brittan Golden (hamstring). Head coach Bruce Arians has already said that he is doubtful for playing.
LB Kenny Demens (hamstring), TE Jim Dray (quad), S Rashad Johnson (finger) and DE Ronald Talley (wrist) were all full participants.
As for Fitz and Campbell, it sure sounds like both will be playing.
The receiver told the press (via azcardinals.com) he is "fine." "It's a division game against the division leaders. You don't make excuses. You just go out and play ball."
That sounds like a guy that is going to play, but was there any real doubt? It is a national TV game at home against the division leader. There is no way that Fitz sits out.
As for Campbell, all signs point towards his playing. Bruce Arians announced on his weekly spot on Sirius XM NFL Radio that Campbell has been medically cleared to play. Campbell's teammate and friend Dan Williams told reoporters it would take "in a strait jacket or something" to keep Campbell out of the lineup.
As for Seattle, they had several players out of practice on Tuesday.
For the second day in a row, DE Chris Clemons (elbow), T Breno Giancomini (knee), LB Bobby Wagner (knee) and RB Spencer Ware (ankle) all missed practice. Running back Marshawn Lynch was added to the list with a hip injury. He sat out of practice Tuesday. Tight end Zach Miller returned to full participation.
